LG has unveiled a new generation of its slim and lightweight laptops, the LG Gram Laptop with a commitment to one-day battery life. These portable computers will be presented at the CES showcase next month.
According to the company, the new LG Gram will be available in three 13.3-inch, 14-inch and 15-inch versions, all of which include the Intel Core i5 and i7 8th Generation processors, an SSD internal storage.
LG Gram series laptops are always very slim and light, and the new generation of the same has continued. The weight of the 13.3-inch and 14-inch new LG gauge is about 900 grams, and the weight in the 15-inch model is just over 1 kilogram. While benchmarks released earlier this year, the life of the LG G-14 is about 23 hours, now it’s a great news for LG fans.
LG Gram 2018
For the 2018 models, LG has made its battery life bold, but they still use the 2014 MobileMark benchmark to estimate the use of the new LG G2. LG claims that the 13.3-inch version of the laptop is up to 22.5 hours, the 14-inch model up to 21.5 hours, and the 15-inch model, with up to 19 hours of battery life, each time charging. These batteries will also be upgraded to 72 watts in the 2017 model, compared to 60 watts.
With the help of Qualcomm to build Windows 10 based ARM chips , it seems that the focus of Intel-based laptops for the CES showcases next month’s battery life. Hours ago, Samsung unveiled its latest generation of laptops called Notebook 9 (Samsung Notebook 9) with larger batteries, and now it’s time for LG to commit to one-day battery life with each new-generation laptop battery charge. Give it.
Surely, if any of the Intel-chip laptops can do such a good job of battery life, next year we will see a very rigid competition between them and the ARM chips, because the philosophy of their creation Delivering longer battery life than hardware is relatively weaker. However, in recent years, we’ve seen devices that claim to have a one-day battery life, so these products need to be scrutinized and then announced results. We’re definitely looking at the next LG GIGABIT laptop at CES next month.
